You can also choose between low or high rise options. Play with pretty printed knit fabrics or go for solids.  Human t-shirts and leggings can be a great source for small scale print knits.

Every girl needs a basic wardrobe!  This pattern will let you sew a pair of basic leggings for your doll.  You can choose to make the full length leggings or the crop leggings. You can also choose between low or high rise options. Play with pretty printed knit fabrics or go for solids.  Human t-shirts and leggings can be a great source for small scale print knits.

 

Supplies: 

  • Less than ⅓ yard of mid-weight knit fabric*
  • 7¼ inches of ⅜ inch wide elastic
  • Ballpoint/stretch needle
  • Matching thread
  • Bodkin or safety pin

*Choose a fabric that has a modest amount of stretch.  Very stretchy and/or light weight knits are not suitable for this pattern.

    I had been delaying purchasing this pattern since there are two other leggings available for this doll. However, in order to compare I had to purchase and was very pleasantly surprised to find two different lengths and 2 different rises in the pattern design. So the pattern was well worth the purchase. Since I am sewing for 5 dolls (one is a boy doll) these 4 leggings options covered most of my dolls.
