Let’s continue work on our jetpacks with Part 2 of this three video series. This jetpack is an amazing addition to the Steampunk Flight Suit patterns. The 18-inch version of the patterns are already available and the A Girl for All Time® versions will be out soon.
In this video, we will cut out and prep all of our foam pieces, as well as build our “goo canister”. In Part 3, we will apply decorative finishes and I will show you how to assemble everything.
If you haven’t seen DIY Steampunk Doll Jetpack – Part 1, you can find my post with all the supplies and links you will need here.
Part 3 of this series will be available next week!

If anyone is having trouble finding the ends for the tubes and you don’t want to buy yoghurt in a bottle go to your local elementary school and ask to rummage through their recycling bins. You will have all you will ever need. My daughter is a teacher and she brought me a bag full. Water bottle lids too for the goggles.
I filled my canister by mixing my paint and sucking it up in a syringe made for applying glue in fine lines. Then I simply injected it into my can. Then I sucked most of it out again. This left the inside of the canister painted. If you do a lot of crafting you really need one of these. They make things so much easier. They can be found in most hardware stores.
how do you get the pattern for the jet pack for the 18inch. thank u
